Software Engineer in Test
We are looking for new members of our QA team on the position of Software Engineer in Test (can have both, senior or junior experience). His/her main task will be to analytically review requirement, analysis and design documents, report and consult the found problems with authors, prepare test analysis, do exploratory testing, report found defects, write detailed tests as well as end-to-end user scenarios and execute these tests. His/her focus should be primarily on Customer Oriented Testing; End-to-end Scenario Testing and Test Automation (on both, UI as well as API levels).
Eventually, when being an expert of the tested product, he/she would participate on customer engagements at customer sites (world-wide) during which he/she would help the customer to install, understand and use this product.

The projects concern SOA, ALM, Cloud and Service Virtualization areas and are being implemented using Java, J2EE, .Net and related technologies. Even though majority of DEV & QA Engineers are located in the Prague site, the rest of the stakeholders are spread over the world (Product Management in Cupertino, US; top-level management in Yehud, Israel; remote QA Engineers in Saigon, Vietnam). It’s necessary to be willing and able to communicate (daily/weekly) with and possibly travel (yearly) to the remote sites.
The candidate must be very much interested in IT, willing to learn new technologies, eager to play with, test and find problems in the newly developed software, having solid knowledge of scripting/programming, advanced knowledge of different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris) and speak/write in no less than intermediate level of English. The ideal candidate would have also the experience with SOA, Java and .Net technologies, J2EE application servers (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic) and databases (Oracle, MS-SQL), great presentation, communication and other soft skills and speak/write advanced level of English (fluent).

This position is also suitable for students just finishing their University studies.
