The Institute of Experimental Medicine AS CR is seeking motivated candidate for the position of technician in Microscopy Department.
Job description:
• routine service and setup of the Light Sheet Microscope (NeuroRecon project)
• initial training of the new microscope users
• data/image processing
• assistance in sample preparation
• other work activities as instructed by supervisors
Required Skills/qualification:
• relevant education in science, chemistry, biophysics, veterinary, medical or related field required
• willingness to learn and understand new methods and techniques
• working knowledge of English
• working knowledge of office and database software
Previous experiences with the light, especially fluorescence microscopy are desirable but not mandatory.
