Junior analyst - Energy sector

What will be your main job responsibilities?
o Analysis of energy markets focusing on the European power, gas, oil and emission industry
o Modelling of supply and demand, prices, and power and gas flows
o Providing commercial/market information to the traders and management as necessary -including ability to synthetize gathered information into clear and concise presentations
o Close cooperation with EPH group’s assets on various analytical tasks
o Operation and maintenance of existing software infrastructure supporting business decisions

o University level degree in Economics/Mathematics/IT/Engineering
o Analytical thinking, the ability to formulate ideas clearly in writing and orally
o Eagerness to learn, proactive approach
o Good knowledge of MS Office tools with emphasis on MS Excel
o Knowledge of basic programming (e.g. Matlab, Java, C #, R, VBA, etc.) is an advantage
o Advanced English language skills
o Good orientation in the European energy market is a big advantage
o Ability to work independently but also in a team
o Open to travel abroad (mostly Germany)
